Two strangers Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeolf) and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) met together because of an unexpected happening. They are both "activated" as part of a high-tech assassination plot. They are manipulated by a woman who is unknown in identity, threatening their family. This caller uses only technology to communicate with them, to control their actions and push them to do things that is against their will. Now Jerry Shaw and Rachel Holloman is the most wanted fugitives in their country.
